A trip to The Marketplace offers you much in what is known as The Sperryville River District. Sperryville is a small town in western Rappahannock County known for its world-class dining, high-end art galleries, local purveyors, and bed and breakfasts. It sits at a gateway to Shenandoah National Park. The River District is comprised of buildings that once made up an apple packing plant and is located at the confluence of the Thornton River and the North Fork Thornton River. Our neighbors in the tight-knit district include Wild Roots Apothecary, Copper Fox Distillery, Copper Fox Antiques, and Veditz and Company Brewing. A summer concert series is held each year by the Rappahannock Association for Arts and Community (RAAC) and Sperryville Community Alliance, and we are home to Ducks at Night during the annual SperryFest celebration. If you are looking to spend a night or two in the area, consider looking into Shenandoah Yurt, a luxury yurt cabin in Stanley, VA just 35 minutes away.
